Mental health support when you need it.
Whether you need counseling, therapy, or treatment, you have options. BCBSTX medical coverage provides comprehensive mental health services, while the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers free, confidential support through in-person or virtual sessions regardless of enrollment in a medical option.
BCBSTX members have access to confidential mental health resources designed to support a range of mental/behavioral health issues. Coverage includes counseling and hospitalization as well as office visits and telemedicine. All services are subject to applicable copays and coinsurance.
For most mental health services, it’s best to start with your primary care provider, who can steer you toward the best treatment options for your unique situation. Search for a provider on bcbstx.com or call 1.877.213.6898.
To connect virtually with a mental health provider using MDLive, visit members.mdlive.com/bcbstx or call 1.877.213.6898. In-home counseling sessions with a licensed provider are subject to a copay.
Provides access to therapists, videos, podcast, articles, and 15+ wellness assessments, including a Wellness Check-in. Visit bcbstx.com, choose Behavioral Health. Then, click Mental Health Hub.
This program, delivered through TELUS Health, provides no-cost therapy with licensed therapists anytime, anywhere, from any device. Build coping skills through CBT and get help to improve your mental well-being. Find details on metlife.cbt.telushealth.com.
